Mussoorie also called the queen of hill
stations was used by the British to escape the hot summers of Delhi and
Kolkata. It is located at an altitude of 6600 feet above sea level. Mussoorie
has green hills and a varied flora and fauna. It is a wonderful hill resort. It
has snow ranges to the north east, view of the lovely Doon valley and the
Shivalik ranges in the south. The highest point in Mussoorie is Lal Tibba at a
height of 7500 feet. Mussoorie is located at a distance of three hundred
kilometres from Delhi, the capital of India.
The population of Delhi flocks to Mussoorie to escape the heat of Delhi.
Mussoorie is considered as the gateway to
the gangotri and yamunotri shrines of India. Mussoorie is connected to many
major towns and cities by road, including Delhi. Mussoorie has cold winters and
pleasant summers. It is the perfect getaway during the hot summer months.

Kempty falls; these falls are located 15
kilometres away from Mussoorie on the yamunotri road. It is one of the most
beautiful waterfalls. You can have bath at its foothills.
Bhatta falls; this is located 7 kilometres
from Mussoorie on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. It is ideal for having bath and
picnic.
Jharipani falls; these are located 8.5
kilometres from Mussoorie from the Mussoorie-Jharipani road. You can travel to
Jharipani falls by bus or by car.
Municipal garden, this picnic spot has a
beautiful garden with a mini artificial lake and boating facilities. It is
ideal for picnics.
Childer’s Lodge, this spot gives a
beautiful view of the snow peaks of the Himalayas. It is the highest peak of
Mussoorie near Lal Tibba and is at a distance of 5 kilometres from the tourist
office.
Mussoorie is one of the best hill stations
in India and is a must visit for all nature lovers.
I went to Mussoorie and stayed at the club Mahindra Hilltop resort. This was my first trip through club Mahindra. I was walking in a mall in Delhi and this boy approached me. He took my name and number and then gave me a call later. They informed me about the club Mahindra holidays. I had read quite a few Club Mahindra Reviews. I had found them to be mixed. Some people praised the company and others decried the company. I was impressed by what the salesperson told me so I signed up with them and decided to visit Mussoorie to spend my summer vacation. I must say I enjoyed my stay and I would advise everybody not to believe all the negative reviews you read about the Hilltop resort.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my stay at this resort. It is one of the most beautiful resorts in Mussoorie. The location of the resort is very good, where you get a good view of the valley. It is close to the Mall so it is conveniently located. You can go for trekking in Mussoorie. The staff members at the Hilltop resort are good and very well-trained. I found them friendly and helpful. Food is good and the overall experience was very good. It is walking distance from gun hill and is the highest point from Gun hill. The resort is on the hills so you feel you are close to nature. This lively resort has a discotheque so you can shake your leg every evening. The small bar is also very nice.
