  1. The Lake Forest resort is a nice place to relax. The property is divided into bungalows and I liked my stay there. The check in formalities was smooth and the hotel staff was very warm and friendly. There are lots of activities for adults and children. I went with my family to Yercaud in June 2011. The English style suite that I got for staying was nice and spacious. You could sit-out and the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel staff arranged for cabs for us to move around, though it cost a little bit extra but it was very convenient. The suite that I stayed in had all modern amenities like a comfortable bathroom and nice view from the room. You can also rent bicycles and go around town. The fire stunt show that is conducted in the evening is worth seeing and very impressive. I had read quite a few good Club Mahindra Reviews about this resort and the resort lived up to my expectations.

Food was not very good. Some of the dishes were very good and others were not so good. The property has a nice collection of antiques and curios and you can buy local handicrafts as souvenirs. You can also buy freshly powdered coffee and other spices that are available quite cheap. Yercaud is a great place to relax in but if you are looking for too many activities, you will be disappointed.
