We went to Lake Naukuchiatal in October 2011. It was a nice trip. I went with my wife and 10 year old son. The Club Mahindra resort is excellent. I had read some negative Club Mahindra Reviews but my experience was extremely positive. The resort gives you a lovely view of the lake. I went from Delhi by my car and was greeted by the graceful staff with refreshing drinks. My son had a very good time in the fun zone with games and activities. They were also making nice tattoos; my wife got one made on her arm. The food was nice with many local dishes served for those who wanted to try them. The travel desk at the resort was very helpful and helped us in planning local trips to Corbett national park and Bhimtal. The bar was good and I had a nice time there. Overall a very nice resort with nice and efficient staff, good food, and comfortable stay, I would recommend the club Mahindra resort to everyone. The weather was very pleasant. October is a nice time to visit Naukuchiatal. I drove around and even got time to visit the lovely town of Nainital. It has some of the best boarding schools in the country.
